Subject to regulatory approval from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM)* Osmosis IM NL plans to launch a sustainable fixed income asset manager later this year under the leadership of Victor Verberk. Victor Verberk and Osmosis CEO, Ben Dear, share a common vision and philosophy which seeks to address both the risks and opportunities that investors face as the world transitions to a more sustainable economy.

In anticipation of receiving our regulatory license in the course of this year, we are seeking a Financial Risk Manager to establish and lead our risk management function. You will play a crucial role in our second line of defense, working alongside our compliance team to ensure robust risk oversight while embracing our technology-driven and sustainable investment approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and oversee the firm’s risk management framework, including policies, systems, and controls
- Monitor and report on portfolio, operational, and sustainability risks to management, regulators, and investors
- Lead capital adequacy assessments, stress testing, and risk control self-assessments
Required:
- Strong background in investment management risk oversight with 5+ years relevant experience
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (AIFMD, Wft) and risk management systems
- Master’s degree in finance, risk management, or related field
- Independent mindset with excellent communication, technology, and risk modelling skills

In anticipation of receiving our regulatory license in the course of this year, we are seeking a Data Scientist to join our investment team as we build our sustainable fixed income investment capabilities. You will be at the intersection of financial markets, sustainability, and technology, helping develop our data-driven investment approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with credit analysts, portfolio managers, and sustainable investing analysts to identify opportunities for automation and innovation.
- Design and develop solutions to automate credit research and portfolio management workflows
- Build, deploy, and maintain ML/AI models and data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our proprietary sustainability frameworks
Required:
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with financial or sustainability data analysis
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, machine learning techniques and data structures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including experience with ML/AI services is considered a strong plus
- Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch a plus

In anticipation of receiving our regulatory license in the course of this year, we are seeking a Sustainable Investing Specialist who will help shape our sustainable fixed income investment approach. You will combine deep expertise in sustainability frameworks with an innovative mindset to develop and implement our SI integration strategy, while working closely with institutional clients to meet their sustainability objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our sustainable investment frameworks for fixed income
- Navigate and implement EU sustainability regulations (SFDR, EU Taxonomy)
- Guide the integration of SI factors into investment processes
- Engage with institutional clients on sustainability strategies and reporting
- Support clients in meeting their regulatory requirements and sustainability goals
- Work with data science teams to enhance sustainability analysis through technology
- Keep the team and clients updated on evolving sustainability regulations and best practices
Required:
- Deep understanding of sustainable investment frameworks and ESG integration
- Strong knowledge of EU sustainable finance regulations
